Two separate times, Lily took 7 steps in succession yesterday. She couldn't help it, she needed the toy that was so gleaming at her from afar.

Bella is standing on her own without any supports now, too. She started yesterday at preschool and even though Lily was a couple of weeks sooner than Bella on this one, I think Bella will probably walk first. The race is on!

We passed the girls' second Valentine's Day uneventfully. We went to a very crowded Costco with my mother and the girls attracted quite a bit of attention in the two seater shopping cart they rode in. Many more special dates are coming. Next week is not only mine and Augie's 2nd wedding anniversary, the next day is also the girls' actual due date. They will officially be a year old! The week following is Augie's birthday and Aunt Judy's the week after that. How exciting!

Lily's new favorite thing is to hand stuff to you and Bella's new favorite thing is to stand on her head along with shaking her head "no" and holding her hands up is if to say "all gone". They both love to brush their teeth and Bella even has 2 back teeth!
